Art Génération: "Art is a pleasure!"
the concept
Eager to democratize contemporary art, the founders created the Art Génération gallery in 2004. Their wish was to develop an original concept allowing greater accessibility to contemporary art. The idea was to present in one place a hundred recognized or promising artists representing the diversity of contemporary creation through painting, photography, and sculpture. Art Génération aims to spark curiosity and the desire to become a collector, all at an affordable price.
To help the public become collectors, Art Génération invented: "The right to make a mistake"
The buyer retains the right to exchange their artwork for another piece from the selection within a period of 3 months (3 months to return the artwork; 2 years to choose another one).
Selection
The artists presented by the Art Génération gallery are selected by our artistic committee, which is responsible for discovering talented young artists.
This committee also manages to persuade established artists to exhibit among this incubator of young creators, thereby disseminating their work more widely. To be accepted to exhibit in the gallery, the artist must meet several requirements such as creativity, originality, technical skill, and above all, possess a unique artistic universe and personal expression.
The Paintings
Art Génération presents over 4000 contemporary paintings on its website as well as in its galleries in Paris and Lyon.
The styles are varied and representative of the current art scene. Figurative; abstract; outsider art; street art… we present all styles. The prices of the works range from €60 (for 20cmX20cm formats) to €2800 (for 160cm X 130cm formats). Prices per format vary depending on the artists' rating and their success.

"Very Limited Series"
Photographs offered by Art Génération are limited to 30 copies across all formats, ensuring their rarity and exclusivity. Each photograph comes with a numbered certificate and an artist biography. Prints are produced by a professional laboratory specializing in fine art printing.
Formats
Art Génération offers a wide selection of formats (from 24cm x 30cm to 100cm x 150cm) on a variety of media. Photographs can be framed with or without a mat, or mounted on aluminum or Plexiglas. The print run remains 30 copies regardless of the chosen format and medium.
Prices
In its commitment to accessibility, Art Génération offers the opportunity to acquire a very limited edition art photograph (30 copies) starting from €60 for a 24cm x 30cm format. Beyond the 20th print, the photograph will only be offered in formats starting from 40cm x 60cm.
Art publishing houses
It is thanks to multiple prints that we can also offer affordable works of art. However, we want the gallery's prints to be produced in very limited series to guarantee their value and exceptional quality.
Series vary between 25 and 100 copies depending on the artists.
All works are in limited editions, numbered and signed by the artist.
On the back of each work, you will find the artist's signature with the edition number specific to the print purchased, as well as a reminder of the total number of copies. This is a guarantee for each buyer to own an art print of exceptional quality, as it is produced in a small series, mastered and controlled by us.
