SAMSOFY
A renowned visual artist and photographer, born in Lyon in 1981, Samsofy began his work in extreme sports photography in urban environments. Influenced by geek culture, his artistic approach is now centered around the well-known little yellow characters.
He combines photography, street art, model making, and installation techniques to convey his messages, which often blend politics, humor, and poetry. In his microcosms, Samsofy plays with scales and materials to alter perception. Through his photographs, he aims to share his universe with the widest and most diverse audience possible.
Le Nouvel Obs was not mistaken in dedicating a full page to him every week for the second year. The television channel Arte commissioned him to create original photographs for its Star Trek saga.
