GUTI

Guti is originally from Nancy and has lived in Montpellier for the past ten years. Immersed in a diverse urban culture from an early age, it was through rollerblading that he first practiced urban art at just 13 years old.

He indulged his desire for color on all available surfaces (canvases, skateboards, etc.), even sculpting metal to unleash his creativity.

For Guti, free figurative expression is a way to live in the present moment. In an instinctive creative process, sprayed colors are his preferred medium, akin to New York expressionism. The Posca is the tool he uses to highlight and refine them. Movement, in an ever-changing universe, defines him. This is how Guti offers us the explosiveness of his graffiti animal world. Guti's works offer, to those who wish to perceive it, expressive freedom and imaginative shift.
