ADJEDJ DOV
Dov Adjedj was born in Versailles in 1969. At 14, he developed a passion for photography, a passion that has stayed with him ever since. He learned the techniques from books and from his peers.
From portraits to macro photography, he honed his skills, but very early on, he was drawn to the beauty of the Parisian streets. He developed his own world, enriched by travels and encounters. His "touch" is characterized by a vintage approach, often using old lenses to bring a bit of warmth into an overly perfect digital world.
" Street photography is about encountering the street and the real world, walking aimlessly, waiting and discovering." One of his series perfectly embodies this spirit of street photography, having been created over several years, in different seasons, primarily in central Paris, in those neighborhoods where monuments, arcades, and museums intertwine. The idea is not to resemble a postcard in its static and demonstrative aspect, but rather to capture moments of life, of strangers, of passers-by in their daily routines, with the beauty of the city as a backdrop.
