CONSERVED

" CANNED" is the creation of an alliance between two French artists, Charlotte Parenteau-Denoël and Mofart'z. They are among the emerging artists on the international contemporary art scene, particularly in street art. They exhibit and sell their works alongside those of famous artists such as Blek le Rat, Shepard Fairey (Obey), Banksy, Mr Brainwash… and many others.

IMPORTANT: All works are handmade. Stencils are hand-cut. No digital printing.

Mofart'z comes from the world of cinema. He works as a set decorator and, in parallel, as a prop master. He is versatile in the field of art. He practices screen printing, woodworking, drawing, painting, sculpture…

Charlotte Parenteau-Denoel studied art history and interior design before getting into photography. In addition to her photography, she also learned screen printing, sculpture, and painting.

The common thread running through their creative project is subversion.

THE CANNED PROJECT

Their sources of inspiration come from their personal experiences, their childhood, but also from artistic movements such as Pop Art and Street Art. However, they do not confine themselves to a particular style and clarify their desires.

Their common goal is to subvert the codes and symbols of the over-industrialized and over-consumerist society, turning them into derision.

" CANNED " has appealed to individuals and art galleries alike. They are currently exhibited in several French galleries (Paris, Deauville, Nancy, Céret, Nice, Marseille…), as well as abroad (Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, United States…).
